I am a savior.
It’s true.
And, guess what?
So are you.
This is a concept that people have forgotten over time, and especially in the last year, as we’ve muddled through our existence. We’re experiencing extreme political and social divisiveness, coupled with physical separation from one another, and it feels like we have no control over the state of the world. We’ve limited our lives, sequestering ourselves and excising “non-essential” activities, like traveling, seeing plays, gathering together social events – even weddings and funerals – in an effort to further our existence. We look to the government and experts to give us answers, to offer us protection, to keep us safe.
We live in fear, waiting for someone to protect us, to keep us from dying. In doing so, we are giving away all of our power and life energy to authority figures that – guess what- can’t ultimately save us from dying.
Meanwhile, our depleted souls are crying out for us to turn off our TVs, to put away our phones, and to grow quiet. When we focus inward and listen, we can connect to our universal consciousness, and we begin to remember that we are the ones who can save humanity from its current state.
How?
With love.
Love is energizing. Love is powerful. Love is connecting. Love is uplifting.
But how can we begin moving from fear to love?
By appreciating and feeling grateful for the things in life that touch our souls: our children, our neighbors and friends, the blue sky, the warm sun fading behind the edge of the vast ocean.
And by appreciating and feeling grateful for the things in life that try our souls: viruses, division, hate. Recognize that these dark things are here to provide contrast and to test us. Can we remember that each one of us has the strength to transcend these things? Can we remember our fundamental connection to one another, to our earth, to the universe? Can we remember that we possess the greatest superpower of all, one transcends our life here on this planet?
That superpower is love.
Let’s consciously choose love over fear.
Let’s save humanity.
Spot On my friend! It is a very healthy approach that any and all can do with an ever increasing success rate as it is adopted by more and more.
Thank you. Keep them coming!
